We collect no data from users of the ScaleTracks app beyond basic usage data via the App Store.

Privacy

Overview

ScaleTracks is designed with your right to privacy in mind. Step Two does not explicitly collect any usage or analytics information. None of your data in ScaleTracks ever even leaves your device unless you use iCloud. 

Your Data in Step Two

ScaleTracks can use iCloud to securely back up your in-app preferences and two-step codes, and make them available on all your devices. iCloud encrypts your data in transit and at rest on Apple’s servers. Using iCloud with Step Two is entirely optional. You can turn iCloud off for Step Two, and remove your data from iCloud, at any time through the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, or through System Preferences on your Mac. Furthermore, I have no access to any of your data in iCloud.

Any data you store in iCloud is subject to the Apple Customer Privacy Policy.

Analytics

ScaleTracks does not explicitly collect any usage or analytics information. But depending on your device’s privacy settings, Apple may collect analytics information — such as crash logs, about ScaleTracks and other apps you use, and share this information with app developers.

This website collects minimal, anonymized analytics information, such as the number of unique visits a particular page gets, or the country that a page is viewed from.
